This adventure is one for the books!

Day 2: Sky-High Views & Island History at Rainforest Adventures Park

Step into history as you begin your day at Rainforest Adventures Park, housed in a restored 1700s plantation house. Walk through the Emilio Wilson Museum, where you’ll learn the powerful story of Trace Wilson, born into slavery in 1818, and her descendant Emilio Wilson, who helped preserve St. Maarten’s history.

Next, get ready for the ride of a lifetime! Board the Soualiga Sky Explorer, a scenic chairlift that takes you to the summit of Sentry Hill—one of the highest points on the island at 1,125 feet! From the top, soak in 360-degree views of St. Maarten and even spot neighboring islands like Saba, St. Barts, and Anguilla.
